Garis & Hahn is pleased to present a live performance by artist Kalup Linzy entitled, “Art Job, My Lullaby,” on Thursday April 16th from 6:30 to 8:30. In this new, 15 minute performance, Linzy will debut a selection of original songs and covers (interpretations) performing as Kaye, a character whom the artist describes as wanting “to be liberated” and “more down-to-earth than any of [his] other characters.” Kaye will be accompanied by Mike Jackson on electric guitar. Refreshments will be served and Kaye will be available to meet with guests prior to the performance, which begins promptly at 7:30pm in the gallery’s downstairs space.
